Tynecastle to Tannadice Walk

There are no words to express how proud we are of our Associate Member Paul McNicoll and Andy Crichton in raising over £44K to help our Club with the financial implications of the current legal challenges by walking from Tynecastle to Tannadice yesterday. No mean feat! We are sure that they are earning a well deserved rest today. Also many thanks to their support team who did a stellar job.

There is still time to donate if you want to by clicking here.

Upcoming Events

AGM postponed until further notice. A date will be arranged once we are able to organise meetings again.

Ladies Day hospitality was unfortunately postponed when the SPFL cancelled all football matches then, of course, the season was ended. We hope to re-arrange a date for the new season once fixtures are announced.

Kilt Walk: A few members of the Committee are planning on taking part in this year’s walk (assuming it goes ahead). Up until now the walk hasn’t been postponed or cancelled so, hopefully, it will proceed on Sunday 16th August, 2020. We will keep you updated on this event.

The Committee is working on various events for fundraisers and members’ only but, unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to plan anything definite at this time.

Period Poverty Campaign

We are delighted to announce that our Period Poverty campaign to bring free sanitary products to Tannadice has been successful!

Initially funded by ULT and supported by ArabTrust, we have supplied sanitary products to toilets in the Hegarty Suite, George Fox lower and Eddie Thompson lower stands. We hope to provide products to the Ladies’ toilets in other areas of the stadium soon.

If you would like to find out more about this campaign or can support us in any way, please visit our contact page and get in touch.

2018-19 Season

Now that the 2018-19 season is under way, we are back doing what we love – supporting our Club and raising money for local causes.

This season we are continuing to support the Dundee United Community Trust and as part of this we will be offering our help at the upcoming Meet the Players’ Day. Come along and say hi on the 29th July.

We will also be offering our support to the Dundee United Youth Development Board, on which we are proudly represented. The Board are raising money for the future of the Club and are progressing in their quest to help the Academy reach Elite Status in Project Brave.

We are also willing to consider lending our support to any other causes that our members would like us to put forward, so please get in touch with any ideas or suggestions you may have.
